Read the sourcing claim

Look for a verifiable certification on the actual packaging rather than a green color or leaf symbol. FSC distinguishes its 100%, Mix and Recycled labels; read the exact label instead of treating them as interchangeable.

Avoid blanket environmental rankings

Compare the delivered quantity, wrapping and shipping arrangement with your current product. We have not conducted a lifecycle assessment, so we do not give bamboo a universal environmental ranking over wood or recycled fiber.

Try the product in context

Try a small pack for comfort and dispenser fit. A septic-safe marketing claim does not replace routine septic care. EPA recommends flushing only human waste and toilet paper; tissues and towels should not become substitutes.

Before you decide

  • Look for verifiable certification.
  • Record packaging and delivered quantity.
  • Do not treat bamboo as a plumbing repair solution.
