Measure your own daily use

Start with rolls used over a recorded number of days. Divide rolls by days to get daily use. Multiply by expected delivery days, then add a reserve for delays. Round the result up to a whole roll.

Add delivery and reserve needs

For a hypothetical example, using six rolls in 21 days means about 0.286 rolls per day. Seven days of lead time uses about two rolls. With two extra reserve rolls, reorder near four rolls remaining. These inputs are examples, not consumption statistics.

Reset after a package change

Recheck after guests, a move or a change in roll size. If you switch packages with different sheet counts, roll-based tracking becomes less comparable. Reset the log or track sheets for the transition.

Before you decide

  • Observe usage over recorded dates.
  • Round the reorder threshold up.
  • Revisit the buffer when visitors or delivery delays change needs.
